Media could not be loaded. I installed these two packs of lightbulbs in my office where I've been working from home for the past six months. Installation was as easy as screwing in a lightbulb (I can feel how many people it takes to replace the lightbulb joke here. Keep going). Setup was easy too, just open the Meross app, click the + icon at the top, select your smart bulb and follow the setup instructions. I had no trouble placing the lamp, which I can't say about some of my other Mercury brand smart lamps, which can be a headache. These smart lightbulbs give you the ability to easily control more than just the color of the lightbulb. , but also the temperature (from 2700K to 6500K) of the lamp. There is a spinner that shows you the set temperature. This is important when working in an office as I dislike bright white/soft blue temperatures (6500K) and prefer the warmer 2700K. I put the old bulb back into a different socket and then set one of the smart bulbs to 2700K and I can't tell the difference in the warmth of the old bulb next to a Meross smart bulb set to 2700K. Needless to say, I really like this feature. Adjusting the colors of the lightbulbs is just as easy. There is a rotating color wheel to choose from. colors change quickly; However, they could be brighter. The only thing Meross needs to add is a way to match colors across multiple bulbs. I've just set the shade of blue for bulb 1 and then need to get as close to bulb 2 as possible to get them to match. A way to pair bulbs of the same color would be helpful. I really only have two small disadvantages. Firstly, there are no preset scenes that work with color mode in the application. Some of the other lamps I've used give you the option to set scenes like rave, Christmas, or disco. It's not necessary, but personally I think it would be great to add this feature. The second downside, which really applies to every smart lightbulb I've bought over the years, is that the lumens have to be higher. A higher lumen count would make the bulb brighter and it would really help if you use a specific color bulb. Overall I'm very happy with the bulbs and at this price point for two packs they're hard to beat.
