Terrible first look at the smart lightbulb

I bought a set of 2 Meross smart bulbs for 2 lamps in my house. The setup was confusing and I got countless "errors" before pausing and continuing. While the Alexa integration is fairly easy to set up, it fails 6 times out of 10. I often find myself opening the Meross app on my phone to adjust the lights because the Alexa integration isn't ideal for me. Automatically turning lights on/off etc via Alexa has already had the lights crashing at least twice, forcing me to reset them when I get home.

If you like the Trash can product, this might be for you!

Let me say that there are more than 20 smart lamps in my house. Some of them are better than others. This. This is by far the worst I have at the moment. Most devices can be connected via an app. They should use their own, no big deal right? I'm not the first group to do this. Except that their app is an absolute trash app. Half the time it won't connect to my router, then it won't connect to the light, then it won't connect to my Alexa. The app navigation is terrible too. Cool lightbulbs, great functions, luminous flux could be higher

Media could not be loaded. I installed these two packs of lightbulbs in my office where I've been working from home for the past six months. Installation was as easy as screwing in a lightbulb (I can feel how many people it takes to replace the lightbulb joke here. Keep going). Setup was easy too, just open the Meross app, click the + icon at the top, select your smart bulb and follow the setup instructions. I had no trouble placing the lamp, which I can't say about some of my other Mercury…
