I'm not sure what happened to Booda Comfy Perch but I think the company made the product cheaper. I've been buying these bars for years and haven't had to buy them often because they used to be extremely strong, but this batch I've currently bought is (1) not as strong as the ones I've bought in the past, and indeed dangling under my little bird's weight, (2) now it wears out incredibly fast. My bird managed to make a new one similar to one of my very, very old ones in about a month (and he's not that strong at chewing) and the kicker (3) I had not one but TWO plastic threaded ends break (which is useless) and it has probably been screwed on and off four times. I really hate it when a company makes a great product and then tries to shove a bad product in our face. I no longer buy these.
