We have very low ceilings in our bedroom and a high bed and that was the lowest ceiling fan I could find. It's so light that it works with a regular light fixture without the need for a special bracket or reinforcement like a traditional ceiling fan. It is very beautiful and makes enough noise. It doesn't create much air movement, but it's quite suitable for a small space. A bonus we found is that you can change the color temperature of the light by quickly pressing the light button twice on the remote.
