This is incredible. Excellent value for money and very durable which is amazing. It is NOT wood and would require a slightly gentle hand to assemble, but it was also very easy to put together. I don't know how to follow the instructions on the pictures but it was very intuitive. Most one star reviews mention that this is not suitable for regular sized ink pads. I'm sorry you missed this but this listing is talking about ink/oxide pads and they suit them perfectly. I love that it's convertible and fits in different places depending on how you place it. Very simple design, but it can be decorated with a primer and easily varnished. The only limitation I have is something not everyone will bother with, but it is VERY prone to pet hair. It's quite static, and if you have pets, wipe it down with a used towel or tissue paper before picking it up. This will help a lot. I almost wish I had more padding and bought more. Just be sure to check the plastic packaging before throwing it away, as there's a small screwdriver and more than enough tiny screws to attach it.
