The fabric has changed for the worse.
Still good case quality with zipper protection but the fabric has changed. It has a silkier hand and doesn't seem to "grab" enough for caterpillars. I have found my cats have a hard time forming a suitable button out of their silk to support them. I had an accident with a fallen Jay and had to reinforce other dolls. The silk rug when I take them off to move is sparse at best. I would consider this user error, but many people in my Monarch group are complaining about the same issue. I'm not sure I would buy this brand again if it risked the lives of the creatures I save.
