Overall a good rivet gun but no instructions! Out of the box stuck on the first rivet. After searching the internet I found that there are two things you need to do to set up your gun for the first time. First you need to unscrew the bottom of the air cylinder, pull out the piston with pliers and pour hydraulic fluid into the grip chamber. Removing the bottom was a hassle the first time, so be prepared. They include two wrenches for these procedures. Second, you need to remove the chrome nut on the bottom of the gun that houses the actuator. Add a few drops of hydraulic fluid for lubrication. After I did that the gun worked great and I put about 400 rivets on it. The project I am doing requires over 1200 rivets. So if I run into any issues I will update this review. I should mention that the recommended hydraulic fluid is 10w or ISO32 weight, you should be able to find a small bottle of hydraulic fluid with these specs fairly easily. Also, the recommended PSI to work with is 90, but I've found that it works great at 60. UPDATE: I've now installed over 2500 rivets with no problems on this gun. It still works like a champ and requires no maintenance.
