Review on ASUS XG27AQ: DisplayPort DisplayHDR 2560X1440 at 170Hz with Height Adjustment, Blue Light Filter, IPS, and HDMI by Paul Islam

Revainrating 4 out of 5

By far the best 1440p 270Hz monitor

I used 1080p 144hz, 1440p 165hz and now 1440p 270hz. I have to say that it's good for both competitive gaming and professional work. The menu settings are full of good options and easy to use. Although the sRGB brightness is low (you can adjust it with other settings by holding the power button + select button), the other profile selection options are also very good, I use sRGB for work and switch between Racing and FPS to play. 270Hz is fine, definitely use OD Level 4 if you can get above 270fps in games. Build quality is good too, standard ROG styling. The only downside is the price, definitely a bit high.

Pros
  • blue light filter
Cons
  • Screen burn-in: This occurs when a static image is displayed on the monitor for too long and continually burns into the screen.
