This power pack is awesome! EVGA's packaging is fantastic! I have never seen such first class care and pride in the build quality of the power supply! The PSU itself was sealed in a sturdy custom made cubic/rectangular cloth pouch with a flap at the top to keep the PSU free from dust etc. This flap was also secured with Velcro. The manufacturer has also packed the fanciest Velcro cable ties to wrap the cables inside the case. They had this amazingly sturdy little lidless box inside the box that held all of your modular cables so it was easy to pick them out - it was a lot better than just sticking them in a bag. This whole user experience was so well thought out! So much attention, care and pride in this package. It was a real pleasure to open and use! They had a device/connector you could plug into the end of the motherboard cable so you could test power before running all the cables. I haven't seen that before this power supply. This little device helped me eliminate a new power supply as the cause of my computer problems. And the questions I had are easily answered with a video search on Google. When I tested the PSU alone, it felt so quiet that I had to put my hand on the air vent to feel that it was really working. It was good! (Admittedly, I didn't turn off the other computer near my work where I tested this, so I can't say with 100% certainty, but I think it was pretty impressive). Everything about this purchase was top notch! I will definitely buy an EVGA power supply next time I need such a device. I have never felt so spoiled buying a power supply. This power supply is number one in my book!
