Review on 📀 Home DVD Player, Home CD Players, TV DVD Players by Tarrance Man

In the interests of transparency, the company sent me this model in exchange for a review. But I don't need an incentive to write a good review on this device. Let me tell you what I've done and what I've experienced. I opened the box and found a DVD player, HDMI cable, remote control and some other accessories. I went to my studio, hooked it up to a monitor, plugged it in, put in a DVD (Lord of the Rings) and it came up. No problems, no complications, straight away and good. Well, except that the display was set to a more generic setting, so the display didn't fill the screen and looked blurry. It was immediately clear that we just had to find the right settings for my monitor. I braced myself for a manual written by someone who has English as a second language, but was pleasantly surprised to see that it was written in good, clear, and concise English. I put a couple of AAA batteries in the remote, followed the written instructions and was quickly able to navigate through the settings menu and select the correct display mode, sound settings, etc. Suddenly The Lord of the Rings appeared in a big, beautiful display with good colors and clear resolution (as good as you'll get from a DVD. This isn't a Blu-Ray player). My son, who is a much bigger videophile than me, looked at the screen from close and far, blinking and differentiating :-) He said he thought it looked good too. The sound through my studio speakers also sounded very good. The front USB port came in handy for my phone mount/charger, and yes, that worked too. This DVD component is small and tidy, has an attractive yellow LED display, and does everything I can expect it to do. It has lots of nice customization options for different configurations and options, and overall it's a pretty amazing value at this price point.
