Increases amperage with 12-gauge wiring

Meets NEMA code for 12-gauge wiring installed in a typical home workshop. I used it to support my 3HP CYCLONE DUST COLLECTOR. The motor has to turn a steel impeller, which consumes a large starting current. I am very happy to find this product.
