I have a set of these ceramic tile bits. They work as I would expect - the ceramic is quite soft, and they do a good job of cutting holes for lights and fixtures. They also fade fairly quickly but I didn't expect them to last too long for the price. Try cutting a hole in the porcelain and it will burn quickly - even with a constant flow of water to cool the bat. I also drilled some ceramic drainage pots and they are perfect for this. A variety of sizes and low price make up for quality problems. Whatever you do, make sure you pour water on the drill while it's cutting. Otherwise you have a chance and that's it.
