I needed something to hold the bins upright in the truck bed until the cover I ordered arrived. This mesh does the trick on my Honda Ridgeline. The landfill is about 8 miles off the highway. I didn't want the lids on the cans coming off and litter and recyclables littering the highway. This web covers them and holds them in place. It connects with very little effort, although having one person on each side of the body makes the task much easier. The hooks move easily and the mesh is very stretchy, giving you a secure tie in less than a minute. I don't know how people who don't have a cap on the back of their truck get along without a net like this. Please note my truck is not full size. Not sure how this net will work on an 8ft bed but I think you can order a larger one.
