So far, so good. - Cats

It's only been 4 days but I'm happy with this surgical suit for my cat. She had a large cyst removed from her side, resulting in many ugly stitches. So I needed some sort of area protection from her licking when she wasn't wearing a cone. To be honest Kitty was horrified by this thing the first time I put it on. She would just turn around. But after a few days she is already moving well and has accepted it. (This is also a stubborn 10-year-old cat!) Judging by her size, she weighs about 7.5 pounds, which is considered a smaller cat. I have a LARGE and it fits well. There's still plenty of movable edges for Velcro, and the legs can accommodate a cat a few inches longer. But it's adjustable, which is nice. Finally, I've washed this suit once before on the gentle cycle in the washing machine and let it air dry, and it's held up perfectly. UPDATE - DAY 9: So Houdini climbed out of the catsuit alone. I have no idea how she did it, except that when we found the suit abandoned in the closet, the clasp at the neck came loose. Of course, this was the first night I let her run around the house unattended in a suit, while we slept she came out. I took it off at night and put on a cone just in case. Well, now we're back in tapering 24/7 until the threads (FINALLY) unravel in a few days.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • boring packaging
