Review on Govee LED Floor Lamp: WiFi Control, RGBIC Corner Design, DIY Mode, Music Sync, Modern Alexa-compatible Lighting for Living Room/Bedroom by Joshua Ngo

UPDATE: Govee contacted me and after a short correspondence sent me a new lamp free of charge. Their customer service is exceptional and their products are great. The only downside is that the strip is a bit tricky to install and they don't sell the strips separately. Thanks again Govee! So today it was delivered. I opened the outer box to see the real box fell into a corner. I opened it and everything seemed fine. There were no assembly instructions included, but assembly was very intuitive and easy. The problem was that the silicon LED strip was about 3 inches too long. After a thorough search on the internet I could not find out if it is safe to cut it. the strip hangs down from above. I mounted it perfectly but now the top 3 inches of the lamp is off. For the price I would expect the LED strip to fit perfectly and if it needs trimming without losing as much lighting area. I'll probably give it up and go with another brand. I had really high expectations of this lamp.
