These shoes are perfect for me but uncomfortable. The insole has very little cushioning and is not removable (Skechers must have used construction glue to stick it on). The outsole is very firm and hardly flexes when leaning. Moving from heel to toe while walking is like having a 2x4 strapped to your foot (imagine how that sounds when you're walking on surfaces like tile, linoleum, and concrete). However, I have to admit that these shoes are great if you're working with an extendable ladder (which I've been doing a lot lately). The support in the midsole is very good as your feet are on the bars. In addition, they are very non-slip. However, using them only as "stair shoes" is not very cost-effective (these shoes are not cheap). I had them for several months in the hope that they would break, but this did not happen. I had to return them as I felt how weird they were the first time I put them on. In closing I have to say that I have had several Skechers but this pair was a huge disappointment to me. I would definitely not recommend these shoes (unless you live on an extension ladder).
