That's good. This works on my 4a/3c, thin strands and thick hair. I like it more than a wet brush just because the ball tips are less likely to break. Although in my opinion a wet brush holds better on the hair. Both help define my curls. I know some people worry about mold because it really is. I'm not sure how to know if mold can be present and when. However, I made sure to clean and dry it after each use before putting it away for storage. Be sure to shake off excess water as water is likely to remain on the back of the brush.
