I purchased two sets of these (eight lights) to try to uplight the front of my house - while they didn't really work well for that purpose (it's not really the purpose they were built for), they are great floodlights for yard lighting and such. For my purposes I wound up returning them for some solar spotlights with separate panels.Of the 8 lights I purchased, one was defective. Claoner included a card which stated to contact them directly for a response within 24 hours. While their response actually occurred 3 days later, they were professional, friendly, accommodating and did offer to ship a new light for free.The lights themselves are all plastic, but seem durable. They are bright, and have a pretty wide flood area. I do like the fact that they have three brightness settings!These do require direct sunlight to function well! I had a couple which were somewhat obstructed by bushes (they did receive sunlight, however direct sunlight was more limited) and there were nights they didn't turn on at all. They don't last long after overcast days either.That said, I kept ours on the middle setting and they'd stay on from 6pm1:30 am after a bright day, which is pretty good for the amount of light they put out.Just to note, the batteries are not replaceable.
