Got this "windproof" lighter and I have to say it works. I tested it, lit it in front of a fan, blew it as hard as I could etc. and it still worked. It won't work if you put it on a very thick piece of paper or card as it won't be able to bond to the arch, but no matter how thick it is if you only work on the sides it will catch fire. I used it before posting and am still very satisfied. The only downside I can point out is that it does carbon build up due to the heat it gives off, but I used a dry nailbrush and cleaned it up. But even dirty it didn't seem to light the fire. I've used it to burn my trash (things that don't go to landfill), light candles, set off fireworks for New Year's Eve, etc. Love it! Or buy extra batteries. It actually lights my candle wicks faster than my lighter, while neither melting the surrounding wax nor returning the flame to my hand when I try to light it. Brilliant! I'm glad I got it.
