I I have a laptop with a thunderbolt port and have bought and returned two (more expensive) thunderbolt adapters which should do the same thing but for some reason didn't work. This plugs into the same Thunderbolt port but uses the USB-C protocol instead and perfectly supports my two external monitors in extended mode, meaning each monitor can display different content, really doubling the workspace. In fact, Windows even shows my laptop screen as a third independent window when I want to, but I don't have desktop space, so I disabled it. Ooooo cool! Many Thanks.
