Review on πŸ”§ Optimizable FTG High Torque Countersink with Adjustable Capabilities by Tony Conlon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

But it's good.

I've just tested them and they do the job well. When purchasing I checked carefully what plug sizes are needed for these three, as well as the smaller No. 4 (also purchased) I have come to the conclusion that I need plug cone cutters for sizes 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 7/16 .. I bought a set of 3 which are 1/4 and 3/8 (plus 1/2) and the other two included separately. When I measured them they ALL cut out a 3/8" countersink! I only needed one and could have saved extra money if only they had printed the correct information. That's why I deducted a star. #6 and #8 for #8 screws, remember to extend the drill bit past the countersink by just the length of the screw used so you don't try to drive the screw into the thicker part of the hole ( conical drill). ) Someone else here said they had to use something smaller than the bit size, so I also bought a #4 bit, which isn't really true.
