I have mixed feelings about this cooler. On the one hand, if there's one company that knows about small form factor cases and CPU coolers, it's Silverstone. On the downside, this thing is pretty expensive, and in my particular use case, the stress from the mounting bracket caused my entire Mini-ITX Z97 motherboard to flex badly. Temperatures with this cooler were pretty good. In a Silverstone Raven Mini-ITX case, my 4GHz Intel Core i5 4690k Devil's Canyon processor never exceeded 50s and often ran in the 40-45s range at 60-80% load, e.g. B. when playing. Overall, you really do have a few options with Mini-ITX. If your case allows, a great water-cooled all-in-one solution like the Corsair H55 is preferable. If you can't install liquid cooling (like in the case of the Silverstone Raven) you can use the stock CPU cooler, which honestly isn't a bad idea unless you're overclocking or something. Make sure the mounting bracket matches your motherboard's CPU mounting holes to ensure that your motherboard is not overloaded. Pros: Outstanding performance - low temperatures and noise. Looks pretty cool. Excellent build quality. Family tree Silberstein.
