I was impressed by the size of this filter. It barely fits in the tank I bought it for. I had to move the back to fit it. Attachments are a bit flimsy. I was hoping I could connect two nozzles with an angled connector in between to get a right angle nozzle. Attachments don't fit together like that, they just appear to be replacement parts. The suction power isn't great, but it does the job slowly in a tank with shrimp. I don't know how to use beta in a small tank. It definitely has a smoother water flow than many filters, but consider how the water flows through an aquarium for a longfin fish like a beta.
