BOX ULTRA VARI CAGE This is a beautiful and well made cage. It was easy to assemble and well made. High side metal openings provide light and air and protect your child. This is an important part of breaking into a home, and fitting your pet properly will usually prevent the inside of the cage from getting dirty. This cage measures 36 x 25 x 27 inches and weighs 18.5 pounds. It's durable and won't move while your dog moves in it. Our Diego is 46 pounds and about 25 inches tall so this is perfect for him. It allows him to move, lie down and stand up, but not so big that he has a place to exercise. We had an open drawer for him, but he quickly found that if he lifted his leg he could do business without messing up the drawer. This closed box works much better and seems safer because of its ferocity and bad attitude! The box is easy to clean, transport and store. We are not big travelers but there are slots in the box for seat belts for air travel. I personally would rather secure the door for air travel. We put blankets on the floor to make our little spoiled child cozy and comfortable. He goes straight and fits in well. We store his cage in our attached and heated garage. The only problem is the door lock. The top latch fits well, but the bottom latch is a little trickier to work with. I suppose if you're putting a metal door in molded plastic this is to be expected. If you have an animal that you need to keep in check while away from home or work, it works, is well made and durable. We are satisfied with this product.
