My family likes to use fresh toothbrushes. Maybe not every day, but on average once a week. That's a few hundred a year. So they don't have a textured backside to brush your tongue with. They may not be top quality or have all the bells and whistles, but they work great for us and at this price point, frequent brush changes aren't an issue.
