I've been using these ties (one or her to be precise) for two weeks now. They are the most amazing perfect hairstyles. I have very long, thick, heavy Asian hair that usually manages to break or stretch the classic thick black hair ties. I also have to tie my hair in a bun every day for work, but I tend to untie that bun and then re-tie it many times a day, so in short: I use and overuse hairstyles a lot. These elastic bands are amazingly strong and resilient, and even after the abuse mentioned above, they regain about 90% of their original strength. They can't break because they're literally seamless, so I can easily go around the ponytail three times and the bun twice without damaging the elastic or my fingers. They hold my hair very tight and I am thrilled that I can wear a high pony or bun all day with just one of them. When not in use, they sit comfortably on my wrist, replacing two classic hair ties stacked side by side. I expect any hairstyle will last for several months or more; To be honest I'll probably lose them before they wear out they are that good. So I assume this package will last a lifetime. This is easily one of the best buys of my life and I wish I had known about it sooner! Update: 2/11/18 - I'm still using the SAME ONE HAIR TIE from my first post. I have only used one since receiving them. Because it's so amazing. And no signs of wear or need for replacement. Is this gold. And I still have 99 gold left :)
