The wooden shelves themselves are solid wood and are well made for less than $40 for three prices. I've installed many floating shelves and jigs in my time, but these have been the most frustrating floating shelves I've ever come across to adjust the level or even work at all. The brackets for this are two separate brackets and pins versus a single bracket with two to three pins just like every other shelf of this style I have. ever encountered. In the manufacturer's defense, this style of bracket is not uncommon from what I see in other searches as many do-it-yourself bracket kits are in this style, but I will never choose it for drywall in the future.
