Review on πŸ”Œ Precision Performance: Electromagnetic Socket Mechanical Indicator LY2N J by John Bennett

Great value for money for a socketed 4PDT 12V DC Relay

This review is for the 4PDT 12V DC Relay. I knew beforehand that the coil doesn't have a diode, but it's easy enough to add a 1 on the outside to eliminate the back emf when the 12vdc coil is off. The circuit is clearly printed on the transparent relay case. No further documents will be provided. The vendor consistently ignores the user's need to know the coil current draw of all their relays. The supply of coil resistors would help many potential buyers, but is no joy! The 12VDC version I bought draws 90mA. If you look closely you will see a cylindrical groove on the side of the relay. A 4-40 mounting screw is suitable for attachment. The case is about 1/2 inch thick in this area, so a pair of 4-40 1 inch screws and fasteners should work just fine depending on your application. I would buy this relay again if I need it.
