My 2006 Dodge Stratus V6 suddenly started to stall on my way home from work. The check engine light came on and started flashing. A noticeable loss of power and the engine was not idling properly. The temp was fine but I stopped to check the oil and coolant levels to make sure I didn't have a sudden leak. The values are normal, no liquid leaks are visible. Drove the last two miles home, hooked up my OBD2 scanner and used the free Carista app to read the results. The error states that cylinder #3 is misfiring. I chose these coil packs because they had a better warranty than the cheaper ones. I received them in 2 days, replaced the coil on my #3 cylinder with one of these and started the car. BTW, my coil packs were factory originals with 122,000 miles on them. Candles changed about 40,000 km ago. The car started and drove smoothly with no problems. I then replaced all the other coil packs on the remaining 5 cylinders and kept a few others as spares. A few days later the engine is running smoothly.
