I got a great deal so I'll just order the elastic laces. but my 7 year old NEVER ties his shoelaces. He'd rather let go of his shoelaces than tie them, and he knows how to tie them. So I just wanted to go back to the velcro but of course I got the lacing. A little disappointed in that. But the shoes themselves are great.
