Nice that these lights are installed in the kitchen. When they go out, my husband says he misses them. Motion activated light bar and dimmer - I don't like the one that comes with the system. since it has to be activated manually and first in the lighting system by the transformer. So I bought a separate motion switch and dimmer. I installed the motion sensor light bar the wrong way round and it works like a regular light. They light up when someone enters the kitchen. I really like the extra light. The installation is very easy. It uses 16 gauge electrical wire and comes with extra short plugs or longer plugs. I bought some male/female extension cords to move between locations. Drill holes in the bottom and top of the cabinet. Offer help or something makeshift to place light fixtures under the cabinets. Check where the shadows fall before placing them. When they disappear (by motion sensor over time). My husband said he really misses her.
