These watercolors are simply brilliant! They are rich and highly pigmented. When drawing, they have a creamy consistency and shade perfectly on paper. I was completely surprised and amazed when I used them for the first time because I didn't expect such richness of color from these watercolours. The range is extensive and can be used individually or mixed. Plus, the fact that they come packaged in a tray is an added bonus, eliminating the need to wring out tubes of watercolor and make your own palettes. This makes them extremely portable, which is a big plus. Often I take this palette outside with water brush and paper and I'm ready to paint. An added bonus of this color set is that each individual shell is removable. So you can rearrange the colors as you like or just remove the colors you want to paint with.
