Review on Reliable Water Tank Float Switch with 10ft. Cable & 5-Year Warranty for Sump Pumps by Albert Dorsett

My wife bought an Urban Sphere fountain that has a 4 gallon tank hidden under the Sphere on a pedestal. I built a refill mechanism using this float switch. It activates a solenoid valve that draws water out of the bib and fills the tank from the inside. So far it has worked great. I modified it so that the float "swims" higher in the water as it nears the cutoff level. I tied a piece of styrofoam to the inside bottom edge. It worked. You can toggle the switch to 'trigger' when the tank is 'full' or 'empty' depending on what you need it for. I'm planning to build a fiberglass concrete fountain in the future and I bought another float switch for the same purpose. I definitely recommend it!
