Review on Improved Zama Carburetor C1U-K54A - Ideal for Mantis Tiller & Other Versatile Uses by Greg Mahoney

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The M7222 tiller has been given a new life

Here's the scene: a 20 year old Mantis cultivator that was sold at a flea market. Does not start! I gave it to a neighbor to work with a carburetor - I couldn't start it. Collected, cleaned again, carburetor - does not start. A year later I saw it on Revain. After about 5 minutes, put the carburetor on. I pressed the gas, pulled the air flap - after two jerks it started and went out! Accelerated, rope pulled - it started and drove off, but the tow rope broke (the rope was 20 years old). A week later the cable was replaced. Now this tiller starts and works every time. I will be looking for a repair kit for the original carburetor so I have a spare. This carb worked right out of the box. I just had to adjust the idle.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Crumpled
