I confess I was very skeptical about this purchase. I drive a convertible and smoke, so regular lighters don't work. I use torches, but I can't stand their loud clicking. This lighter makes no noise when you light it. The flashlight works perfectly. BUT. There is no safety mechanism to prevent someone from lowering the burner while it is still on. I haven't had any issues myself, but I can see how someone can easily burn a hole in their car seats, blankets, sofas, etc. And it contains very little butane. I will definitely buy again if I lose this one.
