As others have said, at around $35 this is a quick and easy fix if your drills and screwdrivers are in a box or bag somewhere. I've wanted to do something like this with my own hands for a long time, but when I have time to work on things, I don't want to waste time creating shop stuff, rather than real projects. The steel could definitely be thicker as it flexes downward under stress, but I've never had a case of my tools slipping out of my hands when dropped. I put my Makita 18v drill and 2 impact wrenches on the battery and as long as they face the same direction they fit well with the attached belt hook next to them, although they touch the tool next to them. I had no problem installing this shelf I built from a garage. I just marked the holes and put 2 screws in the 2x4 frame. I would NOT recommend hanging this directly from drywall or anything like that unless you can hit the studs directly, just mount it on a stretcher that wraps around the studs.
