Not temperamental on my review.
Not flaky, just plug and go. Picture quality as to color and resolution might be a bit lower than the best, but pretty close to the best of hdmi to svideo. Sound level a bit low, but clean. Simple and reliable settings. Could use a slightly longer power cable. S video is male, so either mount it close to screen or get a female to female adapter.
- I use this with another adapter to capture recordings from my DVR and put them on my computer
- Nothing about it was good. It just didn’t work. Just junk
