As others have mentioned, this bowl is a copycat of a boutique US brand. I have no qualms with said brand. Honestly, I think their stuff is great. I'm not a fan of their drop based, viral release, marketing strategy though. Anywho, onto Pivot. Yes, the bowl is made in China. Yes, it's most likely machine made versus by hand. Neither of those things impacted the performance and the price is banger. Great long session (about 2 hours) heated up easily (w/ foil and provost) and retained heat the entire time. It does lose a star for how huge it is. Compared to my other bowls and the bowl it is copying, it's 8-10% larger. What this means is, if you are smoking by yourself, you will be wasting shisha. I will be using this as a party bowl going forward.
