This monitor looks very bright and sharp most of the time, but sometimes it gets shaky and for some reason starts adding vertical lines of a darker area to the screen. Check out my video. I don't think he likes darker translucent windows. It only seems to happen when connected to my computer. I contacted Revain support and they sent a replacement USBC hub and displayport cable but that didn't fix the issue. I don't know what's going on, but it's very annoying to work with when these lines start blinking on the screen. That really robs me of my concentration. In any case, I wouldn't recommend it as a screen if you intend to connect it to a computer. I don't know if all computers have problems or just my M1 Mac, but it definitely doesn't match the M1 Mac. It works great with my Xbox Series X, but it has to be mine. Working monitor and it's annoying when I'm working. Update: The monitor still works after being a workhorse for a couple of years. The problem with strange lines is gone. I'm not sure if it was a software patch or an OS patch. I got completely used to the picture and it looks beautiful. If it fits your budget, you'll probably be happy with it. My main complaint after getting used to the monitor is the input switching. I assume this will not affect the vast majority of users. I leave HDMI and DisplayPort connected and switch between them. Going from HDMI to DisplayPort requires five inputs (tap the wake menu, wait for the damn thing to wake up, left for inputs, down, down, click to select). It wouldn't matter if it automatically detects which one is enabled, but it isn't. Sometimes HDMI is auto detected when DP has been disabled for a while. It never seems to recognize the DP. It also wouldn't matter if there was a dedicated source button that didn't have to wait for a menu. Again. I suspect a very small number of people use this for multiple entry, but if you do and it bothers you, you've been warned.
