Review on Design Engineering 010450 Titanium Shield by Dushawn Walker

I have used various metal heat shields on my Harley FL to avoid burning my leg, but the metal heat shields are almost as hot as the muffler cover and I burned my leg 3 times in the same place. It doesn't get too hot and fits perfectly. The 8" long version also works on FL Harleys (this 12" version extends behind the passenger floor panel, which doesn't actually need leg protection but can help keep the cat's heat off your thigh). The included clamps are made of stainless steel and are the perfect size to bypass the Harley exhaust where the catalytic converter is located.
