Context? I ride a custom Harley Softtail with secondary pipes, mid pipes, not super loud, but not quiet either. I have a Sidici full face helmet with a bike gear logo on it. I had a Uclear Bluetooth and while I was happy with it to a degree, it had some issues that said? Sound quality is definitely louder, slightly better. I ride with foam ear buds and I can hear it very well, sometimes I turn the music down, I can hear a 75 mph baseball game and I know what's going on in the game. sound quality? That's what you should expect from a small form factor speaker. It's good for what they are, but don't expect Bose sound quality, that would be unrealistic. But I can hear the music, I can hear the rhythm, etc., so I think it's great. I was surprised that it has a boom mic, I wasn't expecting that. The uclear doesn't have a boom mic, but the uclear mic works great so I'm not used to the mic. I'm new to this and I think it's PITA! But I'll get used to it. I'm also surprised by the quality of the connection, the microphone on the gallows certainly has a lot to do with it. I was talking to my wife at 70 mph and not only could I hear her, she could hear me with minimal wind noise. At a traffic light, when I pull away from a stop, she laughs at the sound of the trumpets, sounds like...you know...I'm also getting used to the controls, the dial is easy to feel with gloves but a little touchy , and I think once I get used to it that would be nice, I like that I can say "Hello Siri" but at high speeds she doesn't hear me very well and the time is different, you or are easy it annoys. I'm downgrading the stars from 5 to 4 for the following reason, the radio sucks. You need to be in the center of the capital as you're either out of town, forget it, there's no reception. Even in a city with noise near train stations, I hate noise. Also, the app is cumbersome to work with the radio and the scan doesn't work very well, it's really intended for those who drive the same route every day, tune into their stations and forget, I'm a local radio amateur and one of the reasons that my purchase decision was influenced by the radio function, so I'm disappointed. I think this is a long enough review if you are all red? Many Thanks. I didn't get anything for it, I spent tons of time researching and finally gave up and went for it. I'm glad I did, would recommend and love it, but like anything built for bikes, it's close but not perfect. I don't ride in groups so didn't use the grid, mine is single not double so can't comment on any of those features.
