Review on Bubble 3 Piece Aquarium Hydroponics Connectors by Liz Wolfe

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They bubble ok but not as evenly as I was hoping.

I have two Whisper 150s that each plug into one end of a small tube with five outlets with on/off buttons; Two are closed and the remaining 3 feed them (72 gallons in bow). You have to somehow align them so that the end is the top part and the part where it connects to the channel is the bottom part, otherwise the bubbles will only come out about halfway up the stone. Still lots of bubbles, only annoying when you have to get up to your shoulders in the tank to rearrange them after Pleco rearranged them for the third time in a week. I think next time I'll bury them in a substrate and see what happens. Any of the three work effectively at 66% Whisper 150 and it definitely helps, but I think if you have a smaller pump instead of two larger ones you'll probably want to use short wands or a round air stone instead. I actually had two packs so I could use one in each of my dechlorination buckets and they use a 150 whisper which is enough for a 5 gallon bucket. If you know how you're going to use them and have decent air pressure, but for smaller tanks and smaller air pumps, the longest ones are overkill and you should look for a 4- to 6-inch rod or a pair of round bladder stones instead .

Pros
  • Made of mineral material, it effectively creates water currents and dazzling underwater scenes.
Cons
  • Older Questionable Purchase
