Good water filter suitable for water softener

I have been using them for many years and I always complain when I am somewhere that is not there. The taste of the water definitely changes, and 5 microns filters out most bacteria and germs, not all, but I feel better knowing most. Especially in a city where a lot of things get into the water with every work on the pipes or the waterworks are ignored. I am happy with these types of filters and believe they help prevent many health problems due to contaminated water.
