These shoes are true to size, well made and have a good lining. I chose them wide because I have a big foot and I usually need more room in the front. I've used these shoes a few times and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt because sometimes you need to break in your shoes. Nevertheless, I attended a 2-hour dance class and then wanted to throw my shoes out the window. They become uncomfortable the longer you wear them (that's my experience). I even put a small gel sockliner on the toe of the shoe for extra comfort, but that didn't help. I think the problem with these shoes is the heel and its height. My feet were red at the toes and very painful the next day. Definitely not the right kind of support if you intend to wear them all night. Otherwise, the shoes look very flattering and the lining underneath lets you slide and slide as you dance. I've used them for salsa and bachata (latin) and west coast swing. I bought them from Amazon for a fair price of $47 and had to invest in an extra pair at the studio which was more convenient.
