Has good and bad properties

I bought this device for my walker. I dreamed of the perfect umbrella holder to protect me from the sun. Before the washing machine fell off, I tried to get this unit to work for me. It went well. But it was about 2 weeks. Then the washing machine fell off. With a full size umbrella, this seemed like a good setup. It is able to keep the umbrella in place and withstand strong winds. If I had more placement options on my rollator than just being able to attach it to a handle where I have to place my hands for support when walking the rollator, I would give it five stars, even though the puck came loose. I understand the difficulty of creating a versatile device that accommodates many different sizes and shapes of chairs, walkers, wheelchairs and walkers. I was hoping that the width of the gripper clip would match the wider base so I could mount it a bit lower so it doesn't get in the way of my hand position. I am currently looking for a clip that easily attaches to the bottom of my walker. If I find it I will add a picture to this review. Basically the concept is good. You need a lock washer that doesn't vibrate when you move it. Before buying a device, be sure to measure the diameter of the place where you plan to place it. It is not designed for quick removal or installation. I like this aspect, but as mentioned, I'm disappointed in the limitations on where I can put it. The quality of this product matches its price range here at Revain. I wish I had the tools and skills to design a more versatile contraption. I would recommend this to others looking for an umbrella holder for a device with a standard handlebar size frame.
