I live on a farm and there are wild animals around us. We have 2 shepherds 3 years and 7 months old. I have no problem with a puppy coming when inside the house BUT outside of it like WHO WHAT should I do and running out into the pasture. THIS is how I follow him for the next 30 minutes. I put this collar on him and when he did I gave him a nice level 37 shock. He jumped when I called him and he came. If I let go of it now, it stays completely away from the fence. 3 year old German Shepherd running after wild life in the field or on the road. I collar him when I take him out and expect him to do it. I caught him doing it and gave him the same shock as pup 37, he jumped up and ran straight at me and sat down. He doesn't leave my side. So if you have a patent, this collar really works. I would love to buy this for 2 dogs as I walk them together but I am a disabled vet and cannot afford it. I recommend this product.
