Convenient to use for tuning antenna structures

I bought the device after reading various reviews on the net. For the price, it seemed to offer good accuracy compared to lab-grade devices that cost thousands of dollars. I had SMA cables, both "regular" and RP, and the equipment to craft them as needed. This is important as the device comes without a cable (except for charging). There's no manual either, but luckily one can be found online and there are also videos to refer to. The display is of pretty good quality and easy enough to navigate. It would be nice if it had a keyboard, but it can still be used without one. Overall I'm very happy with the performance and it can scan many hundreds of megahertz in just a few seconds. Highly recommended when working with non-standard antennas, HAM or ISM transceivers. I've had some so-called (ebay junk) 915MHz antennas that didn't work well. Turns out they are actually UHF antennas, incorrectly sold as 915MHz units. The Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) analyzer immediately showed its resonance point as shown in the attached image. I assembled a prototype Moxon antenna and then trimmed the wires a bit to make it resonate at the nominal 908MHz frequency I'm using. See image. VNA also makes it easy to measure the effect of dielectric material in close proximity/contact with the antenna element and adjust antenna dimensions to compensate.
