Grippy is my opinion on my rating.
They fit my daughter like a normal size 6. They are comfortable for long distances. She has been walking up and down steep slopes in the mountains with no problems (at 2 years 4 months) so these shoes feel very grippy. Very cute and durable!

- One of my grandchildren is always climbing in the stream, on rocks or in the mud. These shoes are fantastic.
Cons
- The shoes were too hard for a small child.
