I sew for a living and use cutters every day to cut them quickly and cleanly - but this Fiskars product failed after 1 week. Trust me, I know when a cutter works well and when it doesn't. There were gaps in the cut (after changing the blade several times) and terrible tension causing the blade to either run too loose or required a lot of force to go through 2 layers of lightweight fabric. I give up. I don't have time to redo my cutting lines and at this point I rush to Michaels to get another disc cutter. Don't waste your money on it; it is poorly made and so difficult to use - which doubles the effort,
