I have 3 Fiskars now. Then I have a cheap non-brand. This one is much easier to use than all the others. steers well. Sits comfortably in the hand and is easy on the wrist. The time it takes to cut strips for my quilt has gotten a lot better now.

I have to say I was absolutely disappointed with this rotator. I expected more from Fischer, but found that the quality in the store has dropped in recent years. Blade too full after the first few cuts, the blade kept loosening and wobbling, not a comfortable feeling. I changed the blade and that changed the wobble. It was too late to return it, so I bought something else and threw it away 😡

Love this handle and thumb guard. Fits my hand perfectly and I can push to cut without the blade popping back out because it pushes the release button too hard (like one of the other Fiskars circular knives that I really dislike). You have to be careful when buying replacement blades. I've bought a few cheap ones that work well, but don't over tighten the screw or the blade will cut into the blade sheath.

My only regret is that I didn't get it much sooner. I saw them at a fabric and craft store and they were way more expensive and I didn't realize how useful they are and how much time you save! Works like a dream and does what was tedious fast! I'm new to sewing and fabric cutting, honestly this sucks for me! No matter what I did it didn't come out straight leaving me with more trimming and sewing to fix it! I also do handicrafts and it's great too!

I sew for a living and use cutters every day to cut them quickly and cleanly - but this Fiskars product failed after 1 week. Trust me, I know when a cutter works well and when it doesn't. There were gaps in the cut (after changing the blade several times) and terrible tension causing the blade to either run too loose or required a lot of force to go through 2 layers of lightweight fabric.
